Description

Unilin Insulation | The new name for Xtratherm Insulation in the UK & Ireland.

The 92.5mm XT/TL-MF Thin-R Thermal Liner (Mechanically Fixed) combines an 80mm PIR insulation layer with composite foil facing and 12.5mm tapered edge plasterboard to create a composite insulated panel. This product is engineered for internal walls, sloped roofs, and ceilings where mechanical fixing is required.

The 92.5mm Insulated Plasterboard features composite foil facing on both sides, incorporating an integral vapour control layer to minimise condensation risk. Designed to deliver substantial thermal insulation and drylining performance in a single application, the mechanically fixed XT/TL Thermal Liner is ideal for both new builds and renovation work.

About

The 92.5mm Thermal Liner XT/TL-MF delivers comprehensive thermal insulation and drylining in a single operation, making it the go-to choice for new construction and refurbishment schemes. This solution enhances your home's energy efficiency whilst delivering benefits such as lower heating costs and improved comfort levels.

The 92.5mm Insulation Board is chemically stable and safe to handle, manufactured using a blowing agent with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and minimal Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Upgrading your home's thermal performance offers significant advantages, including reduced energy expenditure and enhanced living standards. The Unilin XT/TL-MF Thermal Liner represents an efficient solution for achieving superior energy performance in your property.

The PIR board offers fire resistance benefits through continuous adhesive ribbons, particularly around vulnerable areas such as window and door openings.

What are Insulated Plasterboards?

The 92.5mm XT/TL-MF insulated plasterboards (80mm insulation + 12.5mm plasterboard) integrate plasterboard with an insulation layer, typically PIR-based, bonded together to form a single multi-purpose panel. This combination delivers both thermal performance and a finished surface in one product. They are widely used in construction to enhance thermal and sound insulation, whilst streamlining installation timescales. These panels suit walls, ceilings, and floors, with options available in various dimensions and thicknesses to match specific building needs.
