With a certified thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, this board delivers excellent insulation performance whilst maintaining a slim profile.

About

80mm Unilin PIR is particularly effective for pitched roofs in ventilated, hybrid or warm roof configurations, providing superior thermal efficiency without consuming excessive internal space. The roof is a major source of heat loss in any building, and this board significantly reduces thermal loss whilst maintaining excellent thermal bridging performance. Suitable for pitched roof insulation, wall applications, and floor systems, this lightweight rigid board is straightforward to fit. The product offers fire resistance, water repellency, and minimal environmental impact.

Warm roof insulation using this approach is particularly suitable for complex roof designs. By positioning insulation above or between roof timbers, the structural elements remain at or close to internal temperature conditions, minimising thermal stress and condensation problems.

Store 80mm PIR insulation on a level, clean surface away from ground contact and protected from weather. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide sufficient outdoor protection. Handle carefully during storage and on site to prevent damage. Insulation boards can be cut easily with a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw.
