150mm Unilin PIR boards excel in pitched roof applications (ventilated, hybrid or warm configurations), offering superior U-values whilst minimising disruption to internal space. The roof envelope represents a significant thermal weak point in most buildings, and installing XT/PR-UF insulation substantially reduces heat escape whilst delivering outstanding thermal bridging performance. Warm roof insulation construction provides an effective approach for insulating complex roof designs. Positioning insulation above or between roof timbers maintains the structural envelope at internal environmental temperatures, minimising thermal stress and condensation formation.

The 150mm PIR insulation requires storage on a clean, flat, elevated surface under cover protection. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide adequate outdoor protection. Careful handling during storage and installation protects board integrity. The insulation boards cut easily with a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw.
