Warm roof insulation construction offers an effective approach for insulating complex roof structures. Positioning insulation above or between roof timbers maintains the structural envelope at internal environmental conditions, minimising thermal stress and condensation formation.

Store 50mm PIR insulation on a clean, level surface away from ground contact and protected from weather exposure. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide sufficient outdoor protection. Handle carefully throughout storage and installation phases. Insulation boards cut easily with a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw.
