With a certified thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, this board delivers excellent insulation performance.

About

130mm Unilin PIR is particularly effective for pitched roof applications (ventilated, hybrid or warm roof systems), minimising space loss whilst achieving superior U-values. The roof structure represents a significant thermal weak point in any building, and this product substantially reduces heat escape whilst providing excellent thermal bridging performance. Suitable for pitched roof insulation, walls, and floors, the board combines lightweight construction with straightforward installation. Fire-resistant and water-repellent properties, alongside minimal environmental impact, make this a practical choice for modern construction projects.

Warm roof insulation installation represents an efficient solution for complex roof designs. Positioning insulation above (or above and between) the roof structure maintains the building fabric at internal conditions, minimising thermal stress and condensation problems.

Store 130mm PIR insulation on a clean, level surface away from ground contact and protected from weather exposure. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide sufficient outdoor protection. Handle the boards carefully throughout storage and construction phases. Insulation boards cut easily with a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw.
