Warm roof insulation construction represents an effective approach for complex roof scenarios. Positioning insulation above—or between and above—roof timbers maintains the structure at internal environmental conditions, minimising thermal stress and condensation potential.

Store 30mm PIR insulation on a clean, flat, covered surface away from ground contact. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide sufficient outdoor protection. Protect boards carefully during storage and construction. Insulation boards cut easily with a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw.
