140mm Unilin PIR performs exceptionally on sloped roofs in ventilated, hybrid or warm configurations, achieving outstanding U-values whilst preserving internal space. Roof performance is fundamental to building efficiency, and this product substantially minimises heat loss through the roof envelope. The ultra-thin profile reduces thermal bridging whilst delivering superior thermal bridging performance. Ideal for pitched roof insulation applications, walls and floors, this board combines lightweight construction with straightforward installation. The product offers fire resistance, water repellence, and minimal environmental impact.

Warm roof insulation construction represents one of the most effective approaches for complex roof systems. Installing insulation above or between roof timbers maintains the structural envelope at internal temperatures, minimising thermal stress and condensation issues.

Store 140mm PIR insulation on clean, flat ground under cover away from weather exposure. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide adequate outdoor protection. Handle carefully during storage and on-site to prevent damage. Insulation boards cut easily with a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw.
