The 130mm Unilin FR/ALU Flat Roof Insulation Board is engineered from rigid polyisocyanurate PIR insulation board with gas-tight foil facings on both sides.

Ideal for thermal insulation and creating slopes on restricted-access concrete, timber, or metal flat roof decks in new and refurbished buildings, this 130mm board serves multiple purposes.

When paired with a vapor control layer and a mechanically fixed single-ply roof waterproofing membrane, the 130mm Unilin FR/ALU Insulation Board achieves optimal performance.

Installation involves laying the boards over the vapor control layer in a break-bonded pattern for comprehensive coverage.

For secure installation, 130mm Unilin flat roof insulation boards must be fixed using approved mechanical fixings.

Roof Design

Follow the recommendations outlined in BS 4841: Part 3 and guidance from the Single Ply Roofing Association.

Falls

Flat roofs require a constant and adequate fall to prevent water pooling from rainfall.
