The 70mm Unilin FR/ALU Flat Roof Insulation Board features rigid polyisocyanurate foam with gas-tight foil facings on both sides, delivering superior thermal performance.

Ideal for thermal insulation and creating roof slopes on limited-access concrete, timber, or metal flat roof decks in new and refurbished properties, this board offers dual functionality.

When paired with a vapor control layer and mechanically fixed single-ply roof waterproofing membrane, the 70mm Unilin FR/ALU performs optimally.

Installation involves laying boards over the vapor control layer in a break-bonded pattern for complete coverage.

For secure installation, 70mm Unilin FR/ALU flat roof insulation boards must be fixed using approved mechanical fasteners.

Roof Design

Follow the guidance outlined in BS 4841: Part 3 and recommendations from the Single Ply Roofing Association.

Falls

A flat roof should maintain consistent fall gradients, sloped sufficiently to prevent water pooling.

Fire Performance
