The 50mm Unilin FR/ALU Flat Roof Insulation Board comprises rigid polyisocyanurate PIR insulation board with gas-tight foil facings on both sides.

Engineered for thermal insulation and creating slopes on limited-access concrete, timber, or metal flat roof decks in new and refurbished properties, the 50mm Flat Roof Board FR/ALU serves multiple functions.

When paired with a vapor control layer and a mechanically fixed single-ply roof waterproofing membrane, 50mm Unilin FR/ALU Insulation Board performs optimally.

Installation of FR/ALU flat roof boards requires laying them across the vapor control layer in a staggered break-bonded pattern for reliable coverage.

For proper installation, 50mm Unilin Flat Roof insulation boards must be secured using approved mechanical fixings.

Roof Design

Reference should be made to the guidance in BS 4841: Part 3 and the Single Ply Roofing Association's recommendations.

Falls
