For mechanically fixed applications, employ a minimum 1000 gauge polythene vapour control layer, lapped and sealed using double-sided tape beneath the Roof insulation. At vertical upstands and service penetrations, extend the VCL upwards and seal to fully encapsulate the insulation prior to roof finish installation.
