This premium board is engineered for installation beneath single-ply fully adhered roof membranes, single-ply waterproofing systems, and partially bonded built-up felt applications. Vapour Control Layer

A vapour control layer should be lapped and sealed beneath the insulation board. When employing fully adhered systems, board joints must be taped in accordance with the specific adhesive system being used.

Bonded Board Installation

The insulation boards are set into a bitumen layer on 3G type felt compliant with BS EN 13707: 2013 (Flexible sheets for waterproofing. Reinforced bitumen sheets for roof waterproofing) and adhered to the deck. Unilin recommends that all systems incorporate mechanical fixings or be bonded using appropriate adhesive products.
