Description

The 90-110mm Unilin Thin-R TR/MG Tapered Roof Insulation Board is a high-performance polyisocyanurate product featuring mineral-coated glass facers on both surfaces. Engineered for installation beneath single-ply fully adhered roof membranes, single-ply waterproofing systems, and partially bonded built-up felt applications. Vapour Control Layer

A vapour control layer should be lapped and sealed beneath the insulation board. When employing fully adhered systems, board joints must be taped in accordance with the adhesive system specifications.

Bonded Board Installation

The insulation boards are set within a bitumen layer on 3G type felt to BS EN 13707: 2013 (Flexible sheets for waterproofing. Reinforced bitumen sheets for roof waterproofing) adhered to the structural deck. Unilin recommends that all systems incorporate mechanical fixings or be bonded using alternative suitable adhesive products.
