50.5mm Mannok Therm Laminate-Kraft / MLK PIR combines 38mm insulation board with 12.5mm plasterboard in a single composite product. The kraft paper facing on one side and plasterboard on the other eliminate the need for separate insulation and finishing layers, creating a fibre-free solution ideal for modern construction.
This product excels when installed beneath roof rafters, substantially reducing heat loss and eliminating thermal bridging through structural elements. The paper facer makes it particularly suited to dry-lining applications, where it can be secured using dot-and-dab adhesive or mechanical fixings.
Previously marketed as 50.5mm Quinn Therm QL-Kraft, this insulated plasterboard delivers high-performance thermal properties with straightforward installation.

This 50.5mm Mannok Insulated Plasterboard performs well in new builds and renovation work, particularly for internal dry lining and roof applications beneath rafters.
Its low thermal conductivity means thinner boards can achieve target U-values, delivering both efficiency and cost savings. By combining thermal insulation and finishing in one step, the product streamlines the insulation installation process and reduces on-site labour requirements.
Mannok Therm QL-Kraft features a 38mm PIR foam core bonded to either 12.5mm or 9.5mm* plasterboard, with composite kraft paper facings. The gas-filled foam cells provide high thermal performance and structural strength, whilst the kraft facing enables direct board bonding to wall surfaces.
Certified to ISO 14001 - Environmental Management Systems, Mannok Therm boasts zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP) below 5. This product achieves an A+ rating under BRE's Green Guide assessment.
