82.5mm Mannok Therm Laminate-Kraft / MLK PIR combines 70mm insulation board with 12.5mm plasterboard in a fibre-free composite. The kraft paper facing on one surface and plasterboard on the other creates a versatile solution for thermal performance and interior finishing.
This product excels when installed beneath rafters, effectively reducing roof heat loss and eliminating thermal bridging through structural members. The paper facer makes it particularly suited to dry-lining applications, where it can be secured using dot-and-dab adhesive or mechanical fixings.
Previously marketed as 82.5mm Quinn Therm insulated plasterboard QL-Kraft, this product delivers high-performance thermal insulation with reliable structural properties.

This 82.5mm Mannok Insulated Plasterboard QL-Kraft delivers rigid insulation performance for new builds and renovation work, particularly for internal dry lining and rafter applications.
Its low thermal conductivity rating minimises the board thickness needed to meet target U-values, delivering an efficient and economical approach. The integrated design allows thermal insulation and interior finishing in a single step, streamlining installation and reducing labour requirements.
Quinn Therm QL-Kraft construction features a 70mm PIR foam core bonded to either 12.5mm or 9.5mm* plasterboard, finished with composite kraft paper facings. The gas-filled cellular structure of the foam core provides both thermal performance and structural strength, whilst the kraft facing enables direct board bonding to wall surfaces.
to ISO 14001 - Environmental Management Systems, Quinn Therm boasts an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of zero and a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 5. QL-Kraft, in particular, has earned an A+ rating when evaluated against BRE's Green Guide.
