8mm Metal Hammer Fixing for EWI – 75mm

Intended Uses

These metal hammer fixings are engineered to anchor insulation boards to substrates A, B, C, D, and E. The plastic-coated metal pin minimises thermal bridging effectively.

Ideal for concrete, brick, and blockwork applications, they work seamlessly with EPS, XPS, and Mineral Wool insulation boards. Where substrate suitability is uncertain, conducting a pull test helps verify adequate load capacity for your EWI system.

Application Instructions

• Bore a perpendicular hole into the substrate and remove loose material.
• Form a countersink recess with a suitable router or cutting tool.
• Position the fixing in the hole with the anchor plate level against the EWI/ETICS indented surface.
• Drive the fixing home by striking the connector pin with a hammer.
• Add a thermo dowel cap for enhanced weatherproofing.
• Check alignment and seal appropriately for maximum effectiveness.
