Intended Uses

These metal hammer fixings are purpose-built for attaching insulation boards to substrates A, B, C, D, and E. The plastic-coated metal pin minimises thermal bridging effectively.

Ideal for concrete, brick, and blockwork applications, they work with EPS, XPS, and Mineral Wool insulation boards. For unfamiliar substrates, conducting a pull test is advisable to confirm adequate load capacity for your EWI system.

Application Instructions

• Drill a perpendicular hole into the substrate and remove any loose material.
• Form a countersink recess using a suitable router or cutter tool.
• Position the fixing in the hole so the anchor plate aligns flush with the EWI/ETICS indented layer.
• Drive the fixing home by striking the connector pin with a hammer.
• Cap with a thermo dowel for enhanced sealing.
• Check alignment and seal thoroughly for best results.
