Intended Uses

These metal hammer fixings are purpose-built for anchoring insulation boards to substrates A, B, C, D, and E. The plastic-coated metal pin construction minimises thermal bridging effectively.

Ideal for concrete, brick, and blockwork applications, they work seamlessly with EPS, XPS, and Mineral Wool insulation boards. For uncertain substrate conditions, conducting a pull test ensures adequate load capacity for your EWI system.

Application Instructions

• Drill a perpendicular hole into the substrate and remove any loose material.
• Use a router or cutter to form a countersink recess.
• Position the fixing in the hole with the anchor plate level against the EWI/ETICS indented layer.
• Strike the connector pin firmly with a hammer to secure.
• Add a thermo dowel cap for enhanced sealing protection.
• Check alignment and seal thoroughly for maximum performance.
