Integral Vapor Control Layer

The composite glass tissue facing on SR/TB acts as a gas and vapor-resistant barrier, minimising condensation risk. When joints are correctly sealed and taped following standard drylining practice, you'll achieve a complete vapor control layer across your wall surface.

Fire Stops

When drylining any wall, fire stops must be installed at the top and bottom of each board, plus around all openings including doors and windows. These unbroken lines of adhesive prevent fire from spreading behind the insulation and also help eliminate thermal bridging, improving your overall U-Value performance.

Handling, Cutting, and Storage

Unilin PIR insulation Board must be stored on a clean, dry surface above ground level and kept protected from weather exposure. Polythene wrapping alone won't provide adequate outdoor protection. Take care to protect your insulation during storage and throughout the build process. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling insulation materials.
