Integral Vapor Control Layer

The composite glass tissue facing on SR/TB acts as an impermeable barrier to gas and moisture, minimising condensation risks. When joints are properly sealed and taped following standard drylining practices, a complete vapor control layer is created across the wall surface.

Fire Stops

When installing drylining systems, fire stops must be positioned at the top and bottom of each board, plus around all openings including doors and windows. These consist of continuous lines of adhesive that prevent fire spread behind the insulation and help reduce thermal bridging for improved wall U-Values.

Handling, Cutting, and Storage

PIR insulation boards should be kept on a clean, level surface above ground and protected from weather exposure. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide adequate outdoor protection. Take appropriate precautions during storage and on-site handling. Always wear suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with insulation materials.
