Integral Vapor Control Layer

The composite glass tissue facing on the 92.5mm SR/TB-MF acts as a complete gas and vapor barrier, significantly reducing condensation risks. When joints are properly sealed and taped following standard drylining practices, the board establishes a continuous vapor control layer throughout the installation.

Fire Stops

When drylining walls, fire stops must be positioned at the top and bottom of each board, plus around all openings including doors and windows. These fire stops use continuous adhesive lines to block fire spread behind the insulation. The unbroken adhesive also prevents thermal bridging, improving overall wall U-Values.

Handling, Cutting, and Storage

Store PIR insulation boards on a clean, level surface above ground, protected from weather exposure. Polythene wrapping alone does not provide adequate outdoor protection. Take care during storage and on-site to prevent damage. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling insulation materials.
