Integral Vapor Control Layer

The composite glass tissue facing on the 62.5mm SR/TB-MF acts as a gas and vapor-resistant barrier, substantially lowering condensation risk. When joints are properly sealed and taped following standard drylining practices, you'll achieve a complete vapor control layer across the entire surface.

Fire Stops

When installing drylining, fire stops must be placed at the top and bottom of each board, plus around all openings including doors and windows. These consist of continuous adhesive lines that block fire from spreading behind the insulation. They also prevent thermal bridging, improving overall wall U-Values.

Handling, Cutting, and Storage

Store PIR insulation boards on a clean, level surface above ground and keep them protected from weather. Polythene wrapping alone won't shield boards from outdoor conditions. Take care during storage and throughout the build to maintain board integrity. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling insulation materials.
