Integral vapour control layer

1. For standard ventilated roof systems, maintain a 50mm clear ventilation gap between the insulation and roofing felt. Where a vapour-permeable membrane is used, this gap can sometimes be reduced or removed entirely. Always consult the roof membrane manufacturer's instructions for specific guidance.
2. Standard ceiling installations typically position fiberglass insulation between and above the joists. This approach hides the upper joists, creating potential safety concerns when accessing roof spaces. To address thermal bridging through joists, apply SR/PR to the underside before installing plasterboard. Alternatively, use Safe-R SR/TB Drylining boards for this application. Both methods allow safe roof access whilst keeping joists visible for storage use.

Handling, Cutting, and Storage:
