Our EWI-075 Silicone Render is a premium polymer-modified thin-coat solution engineered for external wall applications. This ready-to-apply decorative render delivers an attractive finish whilst maintaining exceptional breathability, making it ideal for external wall insulation systems. It bonds effectively to brick, concrete, render carrier boards, traditional plasters, gypsum surfaces, and insulation substrates.

The high breathability of this silicone render makes it particularly well-suited for pairing with breathable insulation materials such as Mineral Wool or Wood Fibre insulation in external wall insulation schemes. Unlike thicker sand and cement or monocouche systems, this thin-coat silicone render resists cracking and provides long-term durability with minimal maintenance.

1. The EWI-075 Silicone Render comes in an extensive palette of 380 colours, including RAL and NCS colour options to suit your project requirements.
2. Select from multiple grain sizes—0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, and 3mm—to achieve your preferred surface texture. A finer 0.5mm grain produces a smooth, refined finish, whilst a coarser 3mm grain creates a more pronounced textured appearance with enhanced visual depth.

Application

EWI-075 Silicone Render is supplied ready-to-use straight from the bucket, requiring no water addition. Prior to application, thoroughly mix the material to ensure uniform colour pigment distribution and verify colour accuracy against your order.

Apply the render using an initial trowel pass onto the prepared substrate, then use a plastic float to create your desired texture finish. As a thin-coat system, application thickness should correspond to your selected grain size specification.

Application Specifics

When installing EWI-075 Silicone Render on building elevations, ensure sufficient applicators are present on-site to complete entire sections without interruption, as the material sets quickly—especially during warm weather. Rapid finishing by rubbing up ensures colour uniformity across the elevation. Partial application to small sections will result in visible joint lines when the full elevation is completed.
