Our EWI-075 Silicone Render is a premium thin-coat solution engineered for external wall applications. This polymer-modified, ready-to-use render delivers a decorative finish across diverse substrates including brick, concrete, render carrier boards, traditional plasters, gypsum, and external wall insulation systems.

Distinguished by its superior breathability, this silicone render performs exceptionally well with breathable insulation materials. Whether specified with Mineral Wool or Wood Fibre insulation, the render maintains optimal vapour permeability for EWI systems. It also functions effectively as a standalone render-only finish without insulation backing.

This thin-coat silicone system outperforms conventional sand and cement or monocouche renders by providing enhanced durability and crack resistance, ensuring a long-lasting decorative surface.

Application

EWI Pro Silicone Render requires no water addition and is supplied ready for immediate use. Apply directly from the container without additional preparation. Prior to application, thoroughly mix the render to ensure uniform pigment distribution throughout. Always verify colour accuracy against your specification before commencing work.

To apply EWI-075 Silicone Render, trowel the material onto the prepared substrate, then use a plastic float to establish the desired surface texture. As a thin-coat system, application thickness must correspond to the selected grain size specification.

Application Specifics

When installing EWI Pro Silicone thin coat Render on building facades, ensure sufficient applicators are deployed to complete entire elevations without interruption. The render cures rapidly, particularly during warm weather conditions. Achieving a consistent finish requires swift application and rubbing-up of the material. Partial elevation rendering will produce visible joint lines when the complete surface is finished.
