The EWI-075 Silicone Render is a polymer-modified, ready-to-use coating engineered for external wall applications. This thin-coat system provides a decorative finish with excellent adhesion to brick, concrete, render carrier boards, traditional plasters, gypsum, and external wall insulation systems.

The high breathability of this silicone-based render makes it particularly effective when paired with breathable insulants in external wall insulation schemes. It performs equally well with Mineral Wool or Wood Fibre insulation systems, maintaining vapour permeability throughout the assembly.

This product can be applied as a standalone decorative coating or integrated into complete EWI systems. Compared to thicker alternatives such as sand and cement or monocouche renders, the silicone formulation resists cracking and offers extended durability with minimal maintenance.

Application

EWI-075 Silicone Render is supplied as a ready-to-use product requiring no water addition. Application is straightforward—simply dispense from the bucket. Prior to use, thorough mixing ensures uniform pigment distribution throughout the material. Always confirm colour accuracy against your specification before commencing work.

To apply the Silicone Render, trowel the material onto the prepared substrate, then use a plastic float to create the desired textured surface. As a thin-coat system, application thickness must correspond to the selected grain size specification.

Application Specifics

When installing EWI-075 Silicone Render on building elevations, sufficient applicators must be present to complete entire facades in a single operation. This is critical because the material sets quickly, especially during warm weather conditions. Rapid finishing by rubbing up the render ensures uniform appearance. Partial elevation coverage will produce visible joint lines where render sections meet upon completion of the full facade.
