The EWI-075 Silicone Render is a polymer-modified, ready-to-use coating formulated for external application on building facades. This thin-coat render system delivers a decorative finish and performs excellently on brick, concrete, render carrier boards, traditional plasters, gypsum, and external wall insulation systems.

The EWI-075 excels in breathability, making it ideal for use with breathable insulants in external wall insulation applications. Whether paired with Mineral Wool or Wood Fibre insulation, this render maintains the vapour permeability your project requires.

This silicone-based coating offers flexibility for standalone render applications without insulation layers. Compared to thicker alternatives such as sand and cement or monocouche systems, the EWI-075 provides superior durability and crack resistance, ensuring a long-lasting decorative surface.

Application

EWI-075 Silicone Render is supplied ready for use and requires no water addition. Apply directly from the bucket after thorough mixing to ensure even pigment distribution. Always verify colour accuracy against your order before commencing application.

To apply the EWI-075, trowel the render onto the prepared substrate, then use a plastic float to create your desired texture finish. As this is a thin-coat system, application thickness should correspond to the selected grain size.

Application Specifics

When installing EWI-075 Silicone thin coat Render on external elevations, ensure sufficient applicators are present to complete entire wall sections in one application phase. The render sets quickly, particularly during warm weather conditions. Achieving consistent appearance requires rapid finishing to blend the surface evenly. Partial elevation rendering will result in visible joints where sections meet upon final completion.
