Installation

Ensure the roof deck is thoroughly cleaned and dried before fitting 90mm Inno-Fix boards. When installing flat Inno-Fix insulation boards, the roof deck must be constructed with adequate fall to all rainwater outlets. Install a minimum 90mm upstand of insulation board around the roof perimeter and use approved angle fillets at upstands or kerbs.

• Position boards over a Vapour Control Layer (VCL). For sealed metal deck applications, a VCL is not required.
• Adhere to manufacturer's instructions when applying the waterproofing membrane.
• Extend waterproofing vertically at upstands, reaching a minimum of 150 mm above the top of horizontal insulation or 300 mm above the deck level.

Resistance to solvents

Inno-Fix resists attack from dilute alkalis and acids, mineral oil and petrol. The insulation is not resistant to ketonic solvents. Damaged boards should not be used.

Durability

When properly installed, Inno-Fix offers indefinite service life with durability dependent on the supporting structure and usage conditions. It should not be used to isolate dampness or in continuously damp/humid environments. The fibre-free insulation core and facings resist mould and microbial growth and provide no food source for vermin.
