Installation

Before fitting 130mm Inno-Fix boards, ensure the roof deck is thoroughly cleaned and dried. Flat roof installations require the deck to be constructed with adequate fall towards all rainwater outlets. Position a minimum 130mm upstand of insulation board around the entire roof perimeter and install approved angle fillets at upstands or kerbs.

• Install boards over a Vapour Control Layer (VCL). When fixing to a sealed metal deck, a VCL is not required.
• Adhere to manufacturer's specifications when applying the waterproofing membrane.
• Extend waterproofing vertically at upstands to a minimum of 150 mm above the horizontal insulation top or 300 mm above the deck level.

Resistance to solvents

Inno-Fix resists attack from dilute alkalis and acids, mineral oil and petrol. The insulation is not resistant to ketonic solvents. Damaged boards should not be used.

Durability

When installed to specification, Inno-Fix delivers indefinite service life, with longevity determined by the supporting structure and application conditions. Do not use to isolate dampness or in persistently damp or humid environments. The fibre-free insulation core and facings resist mould and microbial colonisation and provide no nutritional value to pests.
