Installation

Before fitting 100mm Inno-Fix boards, ensure the roof deck is thoroughly cleaned and dried. When installing flat Inno-Fix insulation boards, the roof structure must slope towards all water drainage points. Position a minimum 100mm upstand of insulation around the roof edge and apply approved angle fillets at upstands or kerbs.

• Position boards above a Vapour Control Layer (VCL). For sealed metal decks, a VCL is not required.
• Adhere to manufacturer specifications when applying the waterproofing membrane.
• Extend waterproofing up the vertical surfaces at upstands, reaching at least 150 mm above the horizontal insulation top or 300 mm above the deck level.

Resistance to solvents

Inno-Fix withstands exposure to weak alkalis and acids, mineral oil and petrol. The material does not resist ketonic solvents. Boards showing damage must be discarded.

Durability

When installed correctly, Inno-Fix offers indefinite service life, with longevity determined by the supporting structure and usage environment. It must not be used as a damp barrier or in persistently damp or humid settings. The fibre-free core and facings of Inno-Fix resist mould and microbial colonisation and provide no nutritional value for pests.
