1. The 80mm Safe-R Soffit board provides flexible installation methods: you can apply it directly to concrete slabs, fix it to battens, or use specialist fixing systems for a consistent finish. Being lightweight yet robust, it's straightforward to handle and install quickly.
2. The 80mm SR/ST features a foil facer that can be sealed securely with specialist foil tape (contact the Unilin Technical team for detailed advice on sealing techniques).
3. When used for soffit applications in new builds or refurbishment projects, the 80mm Safe-R Soffit achieves excellent U-Values whilst requiring minimal insulation depth. It boasts an exceptionally low thermal conductivity of 0.020 W/mK and carries a Euroclass C fire rating.

Handling, Cutting, and Storage:

1. Unilin Soffit insulation should be kept on a flat, clean surface elevated from the ground and protected by a weatherproof cover.
2. Note that polythene wrapping alone will not adequately shield the insulation from weather exposure.
3. Take care to prevent damage to the insulation during both storage and on-site handling.
4. Always use suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with insulation board.
