The 50mm Claymaster Jablite Clay Heave Protection Board is a compressible expanded polystyrene void-fill solution engineered to protect foundations from clay heave, soil movement, and shrinkage-related damage. This moisture-resistant EPS board creates an effective pressure-relieving barrier beneath ground structures.

When installed around pile caps, the 50mm Jablite Claymaster layer absorbs pressure on ground beams as surrounding clay expands and contracts seasonally. The lightweight pink EPS insulation board measures 2400mm x 1200mm and installs easily without specialist equipment or trades.

Shrinkable clays with high mineral content (particles under 0.002mm) become cohesive when wet and crumbly when dry. This expansion and contraction cycle—known as 'clay heave'—can cause serious foundation movement. The 50mm Claymaster EPS insulation mitigates these pressures effectively.

Available in 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm thicknesses (150mm, 200mm, and 300mm made to order), this board suits the most common on-site specifications.
