The 100mm Claymaster Jablite Clay Heave Protection Board provides a lightweight, compressible solution that protects building foundations from clay heave, soil movement, and shrinkage issues. This moisture-resistant expanded polystyrene void-fill material creates an effective protective layer beneath ground structures.

By wrapping the pile cap with a layer of pink EPS Insulation, this board reduces pressure on ground beams as surrounding clay expands and contracts seasonally.

The 100mm Jablite Claymaster is a lightweight, straightforward to install, and long-lasting board measuring 2400mm x 1200mm. It protects foundations from clay heave and the structural complications that moisture-driven soil movements can create.

Shrinkable clays contain a high proportion of mineral particles under 0.002mm in diameter, creating a cohesive soil when wet but a crumbly, crazed structure when dry. The expansion and contraction cycle known as 'clay heave' during wet and dry seasons can cause significant foundation damage.

The 100mm Claymaster EPS insulation is available in 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm thicknesses, with 150mm, 200mm and 300mm options made to order to match your specific site requirements.
