This Grade 7/10 anti heave board functions as a protective barrier beneath reinforced concrete floor insulation slabs, reducing ground heave effects by limiting upward force transmission to your structure.
The 225mm Cordek Cellcore HXS Grade 7/10 is precision-engineered for concrete depths up to 220mm and has been thoroughly tested to guarantee consistent performance delivery.
We supply a comprehensive range of depths and grades covering typical soil heave potential and concrete depth combinations. Specialist variants are available for pile cap applications, ground beams, or projects needing integrated insulation, permanent formwork, or gas venting systems.
The 225mm Cellcore HX S range protects reinforced concrete floor slabs from upward forces caused by ground heave effects.

For concrete thicknesses between 1220mm and 2000mm, further grades of Cellcore are available. For further advice please contact the InsulationBee Technical Team on 02038839057 / 02038839057.
Each 225mm Cellcore hxs grade is engineered to support a defined concrete thickness plus an allowance for live loads of 1.5 kN/m², with minimal creep compression over a 16-hour cure period. This is termed the "SAFE LOAD."
When the predetermined load threshold is reached, the polystyrene legs of the 225mm Cordek panels will buckle and collapse as ground moves upward, referred to as the "FAIL LOAD."
During design, ensure the slab, beam, or pile cap can accommodate the difference between its weight and the fail load, as shown in the design examples provided.
