This 85mm Cellcore HX B Under Beam product line protects reinforced concrete ground beams and pile caps from upward pressures caused by ground heave.

Each 85mm Cellcore HX B grade is engineered for a specific concrete thickness, incorporating a 1.5 kN/m2 live load allowance and minimal creep compression over a 16-hour curing period. This is termed the "SAFE LOAD."
When the predetermined load is reached, the polystyrene legs of the Cordek panels compress and collapse due to upward ground movement, known as the "FAIL LOAD."
During structural design, the slab, beam, or pile cap must be calculated to resist the difference between its self-weight and the fail load.
