The 225mm Cordek Cellcore HX S Under Slab Grade 18/24 acts as a protective barrier beneath reinforced concrete floor insulation slabs, reducing ground heave effects by limiting upward force transmission to your building structure.
The Anti Heave Board, featuring the 225mm Cordek Cellcore HXS Grade 18/24, is precisely calibrated to handle concrete depths up to 660mm and has been extensively tested to guarantee consistent performance delivery.
Our standard range includes multiple depths and grades to suit typical soil heave scenarios and concrete thickness combinations. We also supply specialist variants for pile cap and ground beam applications, plus options with integrated insulation, permanent formwork, or passive gas venting.
The 225mm Cellcore HX S range safeguards reinforced concrete floor slabs from upward forces caused by ground heave effects.

For concrete thicknesses between 1220mm and 2000mm, further grades of Cellcore are available. For further advice please contact the InsulationBee Technical Team on 02038839057 / 02038839057.
Each 225mm Cellcore hxs grade is engineered to support a defined concrete thickness, plus an allowance for live loads of 1.5 kN/m², whilst maintaining minimal creep compression over a 16-hour curing period. This is termed the "SAFE LOAD."
When the predetermined load is exceeded, the polystyrene legs of the 225mm Cordek panels will buckle and collapse due to upward ground movement, known as the "FAIL LOAD."
During design, ensure the slab, beam, or pile cap is sized to handle the difference between its own weight and the fail load, as shown in the design examples on the following page.
