This 225mm Cordek Cellcore HX S Grade 32/42 anti heave board acts as a protective barrier under reinforced concrete floor insulation slabs, reducing the impact of ground heave by limiting upward force transmission to your structure.
The Anti Heave Board, featuring the 225mm Cordek Cellcore HXS in Grade 32/42, is precisely calibrated for concrete depths up to 1220mm and has undergone extensive testing to guarantee consistent performance delivery.
Our standard range includes various depths and grades to suit typical soil heave scenarios and concrete thicknesses. We also supply variations for pile cap and ground beam applications, plus options with integrated insulation, permanent formwork, or passive gas venting.
The 225mm Cellcore HX S range safeguards reinforced concrete floor slabs from upward forces caused by ground heave effects.
For concrete thicknesses between 1220mm and 2000mm, further grades of Cellcore are available. For further advice please contact the InsulationBee Technical Team on 02038839057 / 02038839057.
Each 225mm Cellcore hxs grade is engineered to support a specific concrete thickness, plus an allowance for live loads of 1.5 kN/m², whilst maintaining minimal creep compression over a 16-hour cure period. This is termed the \"SAFE LOAD.\"
When the predetermined load limit is reached, the polystyrene legs of the 225mm Cordek panels will buckle and fail due to upward ground movement, referred to as the \"FAIL LOAD.\"
During design, ensure the slab, beam, or pile cap accounts for the difference between its weight and the fail load, as shown in the design examples on the following page.
