This 225mm Cordek Cellcore HX S Grade 24/32 anti heave solution acts as a protective barrier beneath reinforced concrete floor insulation slabs, reducing ground heave effects by limiting upward force transmission to your structure.
The Anti Heave Board, specifically the 225mm Cordek Cellcore HXS in Grade 24/32, has been engineered and validated for concrete depths up to 900mm, with comprehensive testing confirming consistent performance delivery.
We stock a comprehensive range of depths and grades suited to typical soil heave scenarios and concrete thicknesses. We also supply variations for pile cap and ground beam applications, plus options with integrated insulation, permanent formwork, or passive gas venting.
The 225mm Cellcore HX S range protects reinforced concrete floor slabs from upward forces caused by ground heave effects.

For concrete thicknesses between 1220mm and 2000mm, additional Cellcore grades are available. For further guidance contact the InsulationBee Technical Team on 02038839057 / 02038839057.
Each 225mm Cellcore hxs grade is engineered to support a defined concrete thickness, plus an allowance for live loads of 1.5 kN/m², with minimal creep compression over a 16-hour curing period. This is termed the \"SAFE LOAD.\"
When the predetermined load threshold is reached, the polystyrene legs of the 225mm Cordek panels will buckle and collapse from underlying ground movement, known as the \"FAIL LOAD.\"
During design, ensure the slab, beam, or pile cap accommodates the difference between its own weight and the fail load, as shown in the design examples on the following page.
