Discover the Kingspan K-Roc® Rainscreen Façade Insulation Slab in 200mm thickness – a premium rock mineral fibre insulation solution engineered for installation behind rainscreen façades across all building types and heights.
This Class A1-rated slab delivers exceptional thermal performance with a certified thermal conductivity of 0.034 W/mK. Weighing just 45 kg/m³, it combines lightweight handling with outstanding insulation efficiency.
Each slab measures 600mm wide by 1200mm long (4' by 2'), offering 0.72m² coverage per board. Manufactured to the highest standards with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified management systems, this product meets rigorous quality requirements.
The Rainscreen Façade Insulation Slab carries BBA Certificate 20/5845 and has been successfully tested to BS 8414-2: 2015 + A1: 2017, demonstrating outstanding fire performance in external cladding systems. It also holds BES 6001 certification for responsible sourcing of construction materials.
Bespoke 200mm rainscreen façade systems accommodate numerous construction possibilities, combining different materials with various attachment and support mechanisms for external cladding. When fixings and supports penetrate the insulation layer to connect with the building structure, thermal bridges form. These can substantially reduce the overall thermal efficiency of your façade system. Whilst thermal isolators help minimise thermal bridging effects, the selection and positioning of fixings and supports can still increase heat transfer through the assembly, affecting the final U-value.
