Intended Uses

EWI Pro – Metal Screw Fixings are engineered for securing insulation boards to substrates ABCDE. The plastic-coated metal pin construction effectively prevents thermal bridging from occurring.

These fixings work well with concrete, brick, and various blockwork materials. Where substrate compatibility is uncertain, conducting a pull test will verify suitability for an EWI system. The fixings accommodate EPS, XPS, and Mineral Wool insulation boards.

Application Instructions

• Drill a hole perpendicular to the substrate and remove any debris.

• Secure the fixing by either screwing in or tapping the connector pin with a hammer.
• Insert a thermo dowel cap for added insulation.
• Verify positioning and sealing to ensure a secure fit.
