Intended Uses

EWI Pro – Metal Screw Fixings are engineered for securing insulation boards to substrates ABCDE. The plastic-coated metal pin design effectively reduces thermal bridging.

These fixings work well with concrete, brick, and blockwork substrates. When in doubt about substrate compatibility, conducting a pull test will verify the system's load-bearing capacity. Compatible with EPS, XPS, and Mineral Wool insulation boards.

Application Instructions

• Drill a hole perpendicular to the substrate and remove any debris.
• Create a countersink recess using a router or cutter.
• Insert the connector into the hole, ensuring the anchor plate sits flush with the EWI/ETICS indented layer.
• Secure the fixing by either screwing in or tapping the connector pin with a hammer.
• Insert a thermo dowel cap for added insulation.
• Verify positioning and sealing to ensure a secure fit.
