Intended Uses

EWI Pro – Metal Screw Fixings are engineered for mounting insulation boards to substrates ABCDE. The plastic-coated metal pin design effectively reduces thermal bridging throughout the system.

Suitable for concrete, brick, and blockwork applications, these fixings work with EPS, XPS, and Mineral Wool insulation boards. Where substrate compatibility is uncertain, a pull test will verify adequate support for your EWI system.

Application Instructions

• Drill a hole perpendicular to the substrate and remove any debris.
• Create a countersink recess using a router or cutter.
• Insert the connector into the hole, ensuring the anchor plate sits flush with the EWI/ETICS indented layer.
• Secure the fixing by either screwing in or tapping the connector pin with a hammer.
• Insert a thermo dowel cap for added insulation.
• Verify positioning and sealing to ensure a secure fit.
