30-50mm Unilin Thin-R TR/BGM Tapered Flat Roof Insulation Board is a high-performance polyisocyanurate tapered roof insulation solution with a polypropylene fleece finished bitumen/glass fibre working surface on one side and mineral glass facing on the other (non-reversible). This product delivers optimal performance when integrated with bitumen-based partially bonded built-up roofing systems.

Vapour Control Layer

A vapour control layer, lapped and sealed, should be installed beneath the insulation board. For fully adhered systems, board joints require taping in accordance with the adhesive system specifications.

Bonded Boards

The insulation boards are embedded within a bitumen layer on 3G type felt to BS EN 13707: 2013 (Flexible sheets for waterproofing. Reinforced bitumen sheets for roof waterproofing adhered to the deck). Unilin recommends that all systems incorporate mechanical fixings or be secured using suitable adhesive alternatives.
