The selected wall insulation shall be 100mm XtroLiner XO/FB, manufactured to EN 13165 standards by Unilin Insulation. This wall insulation product features a robust modified Polyisocyanurate (PIR) core with textured, durable, low emissivity foil facings on both sides. The XtroLiner 60mm XO/FB variant has an Agrément declared Lambda value of 0.021 W/mK.
To determine the resistance value for any thickness of Unilin 100mm PIR insulation, divide the material thickness (in metres) by its Agrément declared lambda value. For example: Lambda 0.021 W/mK with 80mm thickness = 0.080 ÷ 0.021 = R-Value of 3.80. Per EN 13165, R-Values must be rounded down to the nearest 0.05 (m2K/W).
