Filcor 140 EPS insulation is ideal for numerous applications, including lightweight structural fill and thermal insulation. Choose from standard sheet dimensions or request bespoke sizing to match your installer's exact needs.

Standard sheets/blocks come in 2400mm length and 1200mm width, with depth tailored to your project. Each Filcor sheet/block can be manufactured to your required depth, from a minimum of 45mm to a maximum of 1200mm. Cordek also offers Hot Wire Cutter rental for on-site cutting requirements.

Filcor insulation manufacturing is distinguished by its low environmental footprint. Steam plays a central role in production and is recycled repeatedly throughout the process. The manufacturing method produces zero waste, with all offcuts and rejected material being reclaimed and reused.

Resource-Efficient Composition: Filcor comprises 98% air, making it an exceptionally resource-efficient material with minimal embodied carbon.

Eco-Friendly Attributes: Cordek Filcor meets strict environmental standards, containing no HFC, CFC, or HCFC. Its blowing agent, Pentane, has an exceptionally low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of under five. Pentane is not classified as hazardous to human health or the environment under EU regulations.

Styrene Origins and Natural Occurrence: Styrene, used in Filcor manufacturing, occurs naturally in many everyday products including strawberries, beans, nuts, beer, wine, coffee beans, and cinnamon.
