Flat roofs must be designed with appropriate fall to prevent water pooling and ensure proper drainage.
The 110mm XtroDeck board is suitable for roof decks subject to light maintenance foot traffic. Walkways should be installed on roofs requiring regular access. Once the roof is completed, protective boarding should be applied if further site work is planned.
Built-up roofing systems should be finished with a suitable reflective layer such as stone chippings. Consult the system manufacturer for specific finishing recommendations.
The fire rating of the complete roof system, when tested to EN 13501-5 and BS 476 Part 3 'External Fire Exposure Roof Test', depends on the overall system specification.
