Thermal Performance & Applications

In timber frame systems, 50mm Unilin SR019/MA is installed between studs to minimise heat loss through thermal bridging, significantly improving wall insulation performance.

In steel frame construction, boards are typically fixed externally to form a warm frame system, helping reduce the risk of interstitial condensation.

The low emissivity foil facing improves thermal resistance within cavity wall constructions, particularly in unventilated (residual) cavities, which also help reduce the risk of wind-driven rain penetration.
