80mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) represents a premium expanded polystyrene (EPS) board featuring integrated graphite particles that deliver a distinctive grey appearance. The graphite infusion within the insulation beads reflects radiant heat, delivering up to 20% better thermal performance compared to standard 80mm white EPS insulation of equivalent thickness. This 80mm rigid closed-cell EPS material contains trapped air within each bead, and because air resists heat flow, it substantially reduces heat transmission.
Graphite particles embedded throughout the 80mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) board structure create reflective properties and a striking dark grey finish. When radiant heat passes through the 80mm graphite insulation, multiple reflections occur, dramatically slowing heat transfer and boosting energy efficiency.
Within 80mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) boards, warm air follows an indirect path toward cooler regions, decelerating heat loss and maintaining interior warmth. This delivers superior thermal conductivity of 0.031 W/mK, outperforming conventional 80mm expanded polystyrene boards.

Installation
The 80mm EPS boards are initially secured to the substrate (masonry or timber) using mortar/adhesive, mechanical fasteners, or a hybrid approach.
The 80mm expanded polystyrene boards require covering with a protective outer layer, such as cladding or a mortar finish.
The board's outer surface must be rasped or sanded to achieve a textured finish before application of fiber mesh, followed by base coat or mortar application.
Certifications
Produced in accordance with EN-13163 Standard.
