40mm White Polystyrene (Graphite) represents a premium expanded polystyrene (EPS) board featuring integrated graphite technology that delivers superior thermal performance. The graphite particles embedded within the insulation structure reflect radiant heat effectively. This rigid 40mm EPS closed-cell insulation board traps air within each bead, and because air resists heat conduction, it substantially reduces heat transfer rates.
The graphite infusion within the cell matrix of 40mm White Polystyrene (Graphite) boards creates reflective properties and a distinctive White appearance. When radiant heat passes through the 40mm graphite insulation, multiple reflections occur, dramatically slowing heat transfer and boosting energy efficiency.
Within 40mm White Polystyrene (Graphite) boards, warm air follows a circuitous path towards cooler regions, decelerating heat transfer and maintaining warmer indoor conditions. This delivers an improved thermal conductivity rating of 0.031 W/mK, outperforming standard 40mm expanded polystyrene boards.

Installation
The 40mm EPS boards are initially fixed to the substrate (masonry or timber) using mortar/adhesive, mechanical fixings, or a combination of both.
The 40mm expanded polystyrene boards should then be covered with an outer layer, such as siding or a mortar layer.
The outer surface of the board needs to be rasped or sanded to create an abrasive surface before covering it with fiber mesh, to which the base coat or mortar layer is applied.
Certifications
