The 40mm Rocksilk RS140 Knauf Rock Mineral Wool Insulation Slab is a standard-density (140kg/m3) building material, non-combustible and engineered for diverse applications with outstanding fire performance, achieving Euroclass A1—the highest rating for non-combustible materials.

Sized at 1200mm x 600mm, the Knauf RS140 rocksilk insulation slab delivers exceptional thermal and acoustic performance for both new construction and renovation projects.

These slabs are odourless, non-hygroscopic, and rot-proof, containing no CFCs or HCFCs, and resist fungal, mould, and bacterial growth.

The 40mm Knauf RS140, an unfaced insulation slab with a certified thermal conductivity (λ - lambda value) of 0.034W/mK, provides high thermal efficiency.

With a density of 140kg/m3, the 40mm RS140 insulation slab works well for various applications, including internal partitions, timber and metal studs, and placement between timber rafters and floor joists.

40mm Knauf building slabs feature excellent sound absorption properties, delivering significant sound reduction.
